Got to my parents' house after work Friday and tried to catch the kiddoes, since I knew they would be there for the night. Trying to spend time with Logan in front of a video game is like petting a rock. The boy doesn't even blink much less turn towards you. (Unless he needs help jumping a cliff, or figuring out a puzzle.) This is about what I got.
He seriously does not blink! Sometimes my dad has to remind him too. Silly boy!
Afterwards I left for Ray's, and got there earlier than he did so I took some Texture Photos. Yes, I was bored. I even cleaned my car out while I was waiting.
Ray got home and went straight to laying down in bed. Why not? I had to take a shower and get prettied up, and all he had to do was change his shirt. Sigh! I did get a really cute picture of him being ubber cuddle friendly.
Sexiest bunny EVAR! Here's the shirt he changed into later on.
We both like it because it reminds us of the Philippines. I bought it for him awhile back from Eddie Bauer. He always asks, "Can I wear my Philippine shirt?" So cute. Why does he ask? Because anyone who's gone out with me knows, I have a criteria for people I'm seen out with. Lucky for him, he's hot. Otherwise we would really have to compensate by dressing him up so as to distract from the lack of good genes. Believe me, it happens. Becky knows, I'm only friends with hot people =D
Friday night's dinner was Hana Cafe. Love that place! I had the beef bulgogi this time, of course with the usual pitcher of sake. Dinner was awesome except of the really old gal caddy corner from us distracting me with her "you're-too-old-to-wear-that-sequined-top" and way too obvious "hunny-suck-in-your-gut" rolls. I mean really, c'mon! Yes, that could've been viewed as mean, but that's a common misconception when people try to be HONEST.
I called Carla when we were about done with our dinner and she advised us that she and Paul would be leaving in 30 minutes. So Ray and I tried to kill time outside the downtown Warren. We took a really cute pic of ourselves. Which after having taken it, reminded me of a similar picture we took years ago. I couldn't jog his memory so I dug deep into my Flickr to find it.

Nice to see not a lot has changed. Besides that I have a better phone cam now =P
Went to Green Derby to see Tainted. Waited for Carla until about 11:30pm and then bolted. For two reasons. Ray had decided to break his two week streak of no alcohol, but he had driven his truck, so I wanted to drive back to switch vehicles and drivers. And secondly, we were starting to get bored waiting for Carla and Paul. I'm not sure if they ever made it. I got a text from her right after we left saying she's be on her way in a minute, I replied that we already left and I got an "okay" back. Not sure what occured after that.
Ray and I switched cars, and I drove to Liquid. By far one of our most frequent hang outs. The ambiance is awesome and there's less douches hanging about. We enjoyed several games of pool. Actually on the fifth game (the championship) Ray won and broke our tie. We decided to play one more, and I won attempting to debunk his "Championship Title" but he wouldn't have any of it. Well, maybe I'll get him next time.
After Liquid we ended up skipping the hot tub and going straight to bed. Of course, I woke up in a panic the next day thinking I was late for work. Yeah, what a way to start you're Saturday, right? Ray and I ran errands for a good part of the day. Errands being, going to Slumberland to find a new bedroom set, going to Dick's Sporting Goods to look at Iron Sets, buy new NIke's for Ray and browse for golf shoes for me, checking out the new Accessory City store, eating a light lunch at Japan Express, and driving around looking at houses for sale. w00t! Yeah, I do believe it was a productive afternoon. Besides the fact that I came out with a new cover for my putter and a set of club brushes. Yay!
After all of that Ray took me to my suprise for the evening. We had originally settled that we wouldn't be going out for Saturday night because he had to work overtime for Sunday morning. I thought that meant staying in, getting cleaning done, and watching the DVD's we have yet to watch. Instead Ray took me to dinner at...guess where...PF CHANG'S! Woohoo! We had steamed dumplings, the usual Mongolian Beef, and dessert - Lucky 8's. I'm a spoiled baby!
More than that, after dinner we watched another movie at the balcony at Warren East. We saw Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. It was awesome! After the movie I tried to finish my champagne at the bar side, and we were discussing which of the characters we'd rather be. I didn't see the first Fantastic 4 movie, but I definitely have the urge to buy the DVD now. Uh-huh!
Just a pic instead of the YouTube trailer only because I want to put in a video of the Blue October song that's been spinning in my head all weekend. I heard it in the radio during the week and it stuck. Sing along time!
Hate Me Blue October
(Verse 1) I have to block out thoughts of you, so I don't lose my head They crawl in like a cockroach leaving babies in my bed Dropping little reels of tape to remind me that I'm alone Playing movies in my head that make a porno feel like home There's a burning in my pride, a nervous bleeding in my brain An ounce of peace is all I want for you, Will you never call again? And will you never say that you loved me just to put it in my face And will you never try to reach me, it is I that wanted space
(Chorus) Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me so you can finally see what's good for you.
(Verse 2) I'm sober now for 3 whole months, it's one accomplishment that you helped me with. The one thing that always tore us apart is the one thing I won't touch again. In a sick way I want to thank you for holding my head up late at night While I was busy waging wars on myself, you were trying to stop the fight You never doubted my warped opinions on things like suicidal hate. You made me compliment myself when it was way too hard to take So I'll drive so fucking far away that I'll never cross your mind And do whatever it takes in your heart to leave me behind
(Chorus) Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things i didn't do for you. Hate me in ways, yeah ways hard to swallow. Hate me so you can finally see what's good for you.
(Verse 3) And with a sad heart I say bye to you and wave Kicking shadows on the street for every mistake that I have made And like a baby boy I never was a man Until I saw your blue eyes cry and I held your face in my hand And then I fell down yelling "Make it go away!" Just make her smile come back and shine just like it used to be And then she whispered "How can you do this to me?"
(Chorus) Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things i didn't do for you. Hate me in ways, yeah ways hard to swallow. Hate me so you can finally see what's good for you.
Alright, that's a long enough blog for now. Must do laundry and homework. Kisses!
We went to see F4 yesterday also! But we were in the 4P show. They actually sold Chad a ticket to a loveseat. They are usually really strict about that.
It was 8 of us all in row C. You should have said something. We could have all gone together and taken over the entire row!
Matthew and I ALMOST made it to the balcony movie for the 9:45 showing. But decided against it since I was WAY too hungry to wait that long to eat. I've been up there but Matthew hasn't yet.
You and Ray look VERY sweet in that picture. So when are you guy getting married??? :) Just kidding. . .no I'm not. He needs to make an honest woman out of you! Ok, so I'm not one to talk. You two keep up the love love. You're a great pair!
I'm not much of an honest woman, the last time we looked, I settled on a ring from Barrier's that was about 12K, and wouldn't budge. To be honest, I still won't budge =D
