So my first week of summer classes draws to a conclusion. Whew! I actually got sick Tuesday night. After leaving work at noon, having a meager lunch, Golf lessons from 1pm to 3pm, a quick snack from Sonic and programming class from 4pm to 7pm, I was feeling the pain by the time I sat down for Spanish class. Ugh! Of course, I made sure to eat tons during the day yesterday to prevent the same episode. I keep that in mind for today as well, just trying to train my body to get hungry at different hours now.
Everyone knows that I've been pining for a laptop. Mom and Dad were more than eager to help me in the selection process and trying to get me a discount. I thought, well, probably not this summer. It was to be put off again for another semester because frankly I don't have that kind of money. What I've come to realize, however, is that having classes 4 nights in a row doesn't leave much time for me to go home, download necessary software, look at any class websites, or check email (aside from my personal email which forwards to my phone.) So at this point it's become a necessity.
I've been eyeing the Dell Inspiron 1501 for a good while now. It's a cheaper version of the 1505 only because instead of Intel it has an AMD processor. According to Dad it doesn't make a huge difference, considering as well that this is only for school work. The best part it's a 1GB, 15.4", CD/DVD burning machine. Estoy enamorada con la computadora!
Ah, time escapes me, it's time to start to work. |
