MULTITASKER GIRL NEEDS TO STUDY SOON

I will blog, I will go wee-wee, and then I will sit my butt in class and review before the test. That's the plan.
But first a recap. This weekend I got to eat dinner at Carino's, watch Ocean's 13 on the balcony at the 13th Warren, slept, did some laundry, dinner at the new Old Chicago on the east side, went to Cedar Pines and then All Star for some practice driving, fell asleep trying to watch the Black Hawk Down DVD, ran errands, Te lunch at Carabba's, ordered a phone upgrade, shopped, cleaned, and slept some more. Life is awesome.
Work today was not as mundane having such a great weekend to look back to, and hoping another weekend like that is to come. Ray and I have been getting along a lot better (since the incident) and I think that he's become a more considerate, patient and loving person. It's really hard to get snappy at each other these days. Also adding the fact that we know each other so well, when he feels I'm being short with him, he asks me immediately if something's wrong, and when he says "tell me now" I really try to because he has been really good at trying to fix whatever goes wrong. It's better than letting it slide and making myself bitter about little things. And as well, I have been recently applauded for walking away and cooling myself off when I found myself getting irritated for no reason. We were shopping for bathroom decors for his guest bath and I was getting hungry and cranky, we were about to butt heads and I said, "I'm going somewhere else for a bit." Walked around, calmed down and came back. When we left the store he thanked me for calming myself down instead of blowing up. The little things are so nice. When I'm not in argue mode, and I don't feel I have to be on defense, it's easier to look internally and go, "oh, that's my bad." And I think he's been feeling the same way. Oh, cheese!
Anyway, 15 minutes to go before class, time to potty and review. Maybe tomorrow I will continue. |
