MULTITASKER GIRL CLEANS UP

Sunday, September 30, 2007

I didn't see Mr. Lawyer last night, I didn't even make it to the wine bar.

All dressed up I enjoyed good food and good company at the hibachi dinner. We had 8 pitchers of sake, one for each person, before we headed out to drink downtown. (There goes the not drinking streak.) Happy to report I actually got home just mildly buzzed. I was too busy being enthralled.

Is it possible to completely change your taste in men after 26 years? Is it possible that someone completely unexpected could meet all the criterias you've ever created from all the break ups you've ever had to go through? Is it possible something so impossible could just miraculously appear, without any effort?

I met Mr. Unexpected and he was hot by everyone else's standards but mine. Okay, I thought he was hot too, when I first saw him, but I tried to deny it. He's not the type I usually go for. And once I tell my friends the one criteria he actually missed, I don't even know the kind of reaction I will get. Maybe someone will even get me a congratulatory cake =D. But our eyes met, and cheesy I knew he'd be someone interesting. Of course, since he wasn't my type I had a instant wall, and I gave my snotty remarks, and responses. To my surprise he matched them all, and then some. Our conversation went in range of sushi, Voltron, Snorkles, foreign lands, work, school, family traditions, classic vs trendy, and everything else in the middle. I spent most of the rest of the night with him, and I can honestly say the new outfit was not wasted at all. So we had chemistry, but really chemistry fades, so let's see how far this goes.

So far, I know...
  • ...he's mature enough to know when to start drinking water

  • ...he appreciates my kind of sarcasm

  • ...he has several degrees, a master, and a very stable job where his got a title and seniority aka he's responsible and smart

  • ...he has similar values and finds ways around them in a similar fashion

  • ...he's my kind of funny, my kind of geeky, and my kind of snobby, which is everything tongue in cheek

  • ...he's hot

  • ...he thinks I'm hot

Last night is the kind of night that makes you start appreciating all of Paolo Nutini's songs. Yeah, I have his CD. It was my break-up-make-me-cry-so-I-can-get-over-it-faster album. And now, it's like my life-is-so-awesome-I-want-to-karaoke-love-songs album.

Today, I continued my progressive organization of my room and I ran across my first ever birthday card from Ray, which used to always make me cry. Only because I remembered how he got it and filled it out the day of my birthday, and how he always did every "special" occasion after that on the day off, all forced-like, and non-sentimental. Today when I ran across it, I filed it away and realized I didn't feel all teary anymore, it's just a bad part of my past that I can cover up with all the good times ahead.

I'm starting to stop punishing myself that I couldn't make him love me. Actually, I'm proud I can finally admit that he never loved me. I knew it the whole time, but I didn't want to tell anyone I knew. But I do, and it's okay.

And I'm not saying I'm starting to move one because I'm banking on Mr. Unexpected, or Mr. Lawyer, or anyone. Just that now I can see that if someone is meant to fall in love with me, it shouldn't be all forced-like, it should be in a sentimental fashion, the way I always thought it should be.

Ah, enough. I'm getting off the soap box. Let's have a sing along instead.

Who else? Paolo Nutini with two fratastic songs.

Alloway Grove

Coming home again
To see a girl thats prettier than a diamond shining in the sun
Oh what fun!
I wonder if she's been naked in her room since I've been gone
I wonder if she's said to them as she said to me before

However much you use me baby, come on use me more
However much you use me baby, come on use me more

Getting off the train
To see a girl thats sweeter than an apple picked from Adam's tree
Oh glory be!
And I wonder if she's been pressed against an unfamiliar wall
And said to all those men as she has said to me before

However much you want me, I swear I'll make you want me more
However much you want me, I swear I'll make you want me more and more and more and more

La-la-la, la la la la

Arriving at the door
Just to be told that the girl I'm missing has been in London for a while
No more northern skies for her
They say she's left a letter up the stair for everyone
It's pinned against her bedroom door for all the world to see and she says

However much I love you, you will always love me more
However much I love you, you will always love me more
And I guess it's true
However much she loves me I will always love her more

La-la-la la la la la

I'll love you more and more, I'll love you more
I'll love you more and more, I'll love you more
I'll love you more and more, I'll love you more
I'll love you more and more, I'll love you more and more and more....

New Shoes

Woke up cold one Tuesday,
I'm looking tired and feeling quite sick,
I felt like there was something missing in my day to day life,
So I quickly opened the wardrobe,
Pulled out some jeans and a T-Shirt that seemed clean,
Topped it off with a pair of old shoes,
That were ripped around the seams,
And I thought these shoes just don't suit me.

Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It so inviting,
Oh, short on money, but long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
And I'm running late,
And I dont need an excuse,
'Cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes.

Woke up late one Thursday,
And I'm seeing stars as I'm rubbing my eyes,
And I felt like there were two days missing,
As I focused on the time,
And I made my way to the kitchen,
But I had to stop from the shock of what I found,
A room full of all my friends all dancing round and round,
And I thought hello new shoes, bye bye blues.

Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It so inviting,
Oh, short on money, but long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
And I'm running late,
And I dont need an excuse,
'Cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes.

Take me wandering through these streets,
Where bright lights and angels meet,
Stone to stone they take me on,
I'm walking to the break of dawn.

Take me wandering through these streets,
Where bright lights and angels meet,
Stone to stone they take me on,
I'm walking to the break of dawn.

Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It so inviting,
Oh, short on money, but long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,

MULTITASKER GIRL HAS A SECRET CRUSH

Saturday, September 29, 2007

So yesterday at work I was just wasting away waiting for 5pm missing the comfort of my bed. My friends were asking me to come out with them but I was feeling like I just needed rest. So 5pm came and I headed home. Watched TV for a bit until Mr. Young Professional called and asked me to meet him out. I met Mr. Young Professional last Friday. I didn't really get a chance to get to know him better since I ended up drinking too much and having to bail early. So I agreed to meet him for a quick drink and started to get ready.

While I was getting ready I started censoring my choice of clothing just because I didn't want Mr. Young Professional to think I was trying to come on to him via my cute tops and sassy shoes. No, I was trying to be careful with the message my sense of style could possibly convey. It's the responsible thing to do. But I couldn't let myself go out all haggard-like on a Friday night either, so I cancelled our meeting. A bit shallow, but a lot better than possibly being molested all because of a fashion misunderstanding.

I decided to head out on my own to a usual hangout and texted my friends to let them know I was out. We all met up and then moved on to the wine bar on the next block. Immediately when I sat down I noticed Mr. Lawyer (gave out part of the story already) in a far corner sitting by himself. When I ordered the lavosh I asked the waiter about him and was immediately told, 1) he's a regular since he lives downtown, 2) he has a girlfriend she just doesn't live in town and 3) he'd be more than happy to move to our table for good conversation. Since my friends were all busy talking to each other, it was definitely nice to have him there.

We actually found out that we had a mutual friend, they went to law school together, (yes, that's when I found out he was a lawyer) so it was really funny. I was telling my story about this guy, and Mr. Lawyer asks for a name, and says "Yeah, I went to law school with him." And we talked until the bar closed. Impressive considering I was planning on going home early and he managed to keep my attention that long.

Anyway, tonight my friends and I are planning a dress up hibachi dinner, and possibly going out afterwards. If we go back to the wine bar, I'm hoping to bump into Mr. Lawyer. Yeah, I can't crush because he is taken, but it's nice having someone I can talk to that's on my same level. (Still, I'm hoping he is there so he can see me in the new outfit I bought specifically for tonight =D)

MULTITASKER GIRL HAS QUITE A WEEK

Friday, September 28, 2007

I've been really busy this week, it's amazing I've survived. Between work and classes, homework, and the new Avon gig, I'm barely breathing. But I am happy to report everything seems to be on the up and up.

We had two birthdays at work this week, the first one was Andy's so of course I got a card for everyone to sign, donuts, and a birthday cookie. I guess my teammates appreciated it and I got nominated to be THE birthday committee at work. Fun stuff! Plus, that probably means they're not planning on getting rid of me yet.

Classes are also going great, though I did have to drop one of my classes because I know that if I had the time to concentrate I could get an A. As it was, I was barely keeping up, which was also taking time from my other classes. I didn't want to mess up my 4.0 streak so I emailed my instructor and told her that I would take the class again with her next semester when the tax season has calmed. She used to work where I work, so she was very sympathetic and understood. She was actually working around it for awhile, sometimes even letting me turn in my homework two weeks late without penalty. But seriously that wasn't going to cut it for the tests. So, I thought better, and now I have more time on my other classes that I can guarantee my third 4.0 semester in a row, and hopefully, next semester I can concentrate enough on that class to get an A.

The Avon gig is actually picking up, first customer ever was Jen. She ordered a ton of stuff, then Mom's friend from work ordered another gazillion stuff, so I can't wait to get that ordered placed and delivered so I can get my first self-employment income. Yay! Which will go to paying for the stuff I'm ordering for myself, hahahaha! Actually I got the cutest demo make-up kit from Mark with demo make-up, which I've already tried most of, and it's totally neat! I will have to take a pic. Jen and I are planning on having a make-up party, just me and her trying make-up on. They also sent me this face wash, that I'm yet to try. I usually just use the soap in the shower, and not veyr girly that I wash my face before I go to bed, but I will start and see if this stuff actually makes a difference. I will return with my most honest opinion.

(FYI: for those that have orders with me I am finalizing them tomorrow, and it takes about 3 - 4 days to ship to me. So absolutely before next weekend we should all have our stuff.)

So, yeah, I've been up to a lot of stuff which means less time to come out and play. Usually when I do, it's only for an hour or so and then I head home. I actually did go to see a friend for an hour last night, but had to go home early because today was another birthday for a coworker I had to do errands for.

Oh, and I'm also part of the Toys-for-Tots Campaign at work. I just signed up while I was blogging. That should be fun. They are having a carnival so for sure if Jen and Matt bring the kids I can join in on some of the fun.

Anyway, we're slow at work, but I keep having to pause on the post so I better just continue this later.

MULTITASKER GIRL BECOMES AN AVON LADY

Monday, September 24, 2007

So to add to my never ending list of things I do, I am now an Avon lady. Well, technically, I was before. I sold Mark products a couple of years back, mostly so I could afford to buy my own Mark stuff. Well, I just paid full price for a full batch of make-up and I smacked myself thinking, dangit, that should have been my commission. So, I signed up again. Now, I get to earn money for all my habits, my make-up, and I get free stuff too.

Anyway, help me earn money and follow the link. And you can make a wishlist, since Christmas is coming and you know I have a rep discount =D If you want to get some free stuff, just email.

MULTITASKER GIRL ENJOYS ANOTHER SLOW DAY
I was going to include these in yesterday's post, but as avid readers might have noticed, I really didn't even get to publish yesterday's post until today. Hmmm... My slow day ended up not being so slow after all. Now I must knock on wood, attempting to make that "slow day" statement again. (I literally did knock on wood after ending that last sentence.)

So without further delay, I wanted to show my new desktop, coz I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to make different wallpapers for each screen. I'm running on a free trial of UltraMon right now.

And as well, Jon is in a magazine! It's a wedding mag and I told him that in the picture I could see traces of regret in his face. "Oh, f-, why did I marry this b-!" Now that's good modeling!

Seriously, I'm almost proud of him, and when this mag hits the stands I'm so buying it, just for posterity.

There's more to blog about, but I keep getting interrupted by work so more later.

MULTITASKER GIRL HAS A SLOW DAY

Thursday, September 20, 2007

Jen sent me an email right around the end of my work day yesterday with a cam pic she took some time during the day. Imagine my surprise, since I didn't see her at all yesterday. Sneaky! Sneaky!

I'm not sure what the arrow is about, maybe she likes my bra.

Yeah, that report is totally mild compared this:

Okay granted, the guy is a total tool, but seriously the cops just escalated the situation to a completely other level. But still it's funny, "I didn't do anything! Don't tase me, bro!"

MULTITASKER GIRL IS A DORK WHEREVER SHE GOES

Sunday, September 16, 2007

Posted on the discussion board of my XML class, discussing how we found the information on our last written assignment.

"I used Google mainly because the search bar is already embedded in my toolbar, which makes for very easy access. Most of the information was easy enough to find, especially from Google. It linked me mainly to articles talking about LegalXML, when I found the organization's actual website though, it was information overload. Granted they have a lot of information to offer but too much on one page tends to overwhelm me.

Comparing Google to other search engines - well, Google and Yahoo are pretty similar, though one big annoyance with Yahoo's main page is all the ads. It makes the page load slower and when I'm searching for something it's usually a number to a business I need to call asap. I know, it's not Yahoo's fault that I waited until 5pm to decide to get another piercing, or that I really can't wait until tomorrow, but seriously as a search engine, I need a company that's going to be there for me and understand my needs. =D Sorry, tangent."

MULTITASKER GIRL - "WAS IT SOMETHING I ATE?"
So, the early wake up led me to doing laundry early. I pulled the sheets of the bed and thought, I want to move my bed. Then I looked around and saw that in the way was my nasty, old and already deformed bookcase. This cheapy WalMart bookcase that I've hauled with me through three different apartments already plus the moves back to Mom and Dad's, (so really 5 moves.) This thing was bowing in the middle from the heavy load of all my books. (Speaking of books I still remember Becky making a statement about how many books I have, I'm not the only one left that own books, right?)

Anyway, back to the story, I decided to dismantle the bookcase and throw it away. I piled all my books on top of several tables plus along side my walls. Those will stay where they currently are until I get a new bookcase, (hopefully soon.) I told myself that would be most of the extra cleaning I'm doing for the day. But after that was done, I still wanted to move my bed. To do that however, I had to pull out everything that was under my bed. Mostly shoes, and paperwork I never really wanted to look at. So, I had 45 pairs of shoes along my wall, along with books, and stacks of papers. Yay! I remedied the shoe situation by buying a shoe rack and hiding it in my closet. Granted the shoe rack only fit 21 pairs (I need to buy another one) but it gave me more space in my closet to walk around in. Now for the stacks of papers I bought two filing boxes. The plan is to sort through them quickly once and throw away anything I know I don't need, and place the rest in one box. Then I'll sort through them again, this time more carefully, and file them neatly in the other box. This is the plan, but it will have to be done at another time - I still have homework to do.

By the way, when I went out to buy the shoe rack and filing boxes, I also bought 3 tupperware boxes and a clear plastic drawer system. 2 tupperware boxes are under the sink in my bathroom, one for my hair "equipments" and another for my cosmetics. And in my room, I have a tupperware box for my nail polishes and etc. As well, I now have a new organizational system for my undergarments in form of a plastic drawer thingy.

I've done so much all day, but I know my room still looks like a mess, or so says Eli.

But really now that everything is out in the open, it makes it easier for me to go through them one by one when I do have time to. And once my room is a lot cleaner, I plan to tackle my closet which is a world in itself. Currently, along with all the clothes hanging against both walls, and the clothes on top of all 8 built in shelves, I also have 5 laundry baskets filled that need to be put up. So the next time I say I have to clean, it's not as easy as it sounds. But I do have to switch focus now, I still have to do my homework, and get ready for the week ahead.

P.S. You know I also dusted and vacuumed. Somebody get me a treat.

MULTITASKER GIRL - GOOD MORNING
I woke up early to try to do some catch up with homework, cleaning, errands and such. I wanted to make sure that I can make this coming week as stress free as possible.

My well intentions for the day:
  • homework for all my classes
  • laundry incl. bedsheets
  • clean incl. closet and car
  • grocery shop
  • manicure

Seems easy enough broken down like that, but consider that I've been awake almost an hour and all I've manage to do is flip-flop between browsing the net and cuddling my pillows, I think today might be a bit of a challenge.

BTW, Ching finally wrote a decent blog. It's about our last visit to the Philippines which was way back when I was 18.

July 20, 1998: Tabuc

today is our first morning here in tabuc… i haven’t written in a while as we were kind of busy. things have been quite hectic the past few days.

my friends and jen and i went to MARS last friday. it was packed. it felt pretty cool to be lost in a crowd of beautiful people. after a few minutes there, we took off to do a little drinking next door at the cable car.

would you believe a bottle of cuervo gold costs a couple thousand? sounds like a lot — but it’s in pesos (philippine currency). they just tack on way too many zeros at the end of everything. if converted to our currency here, it should be about the same if not cheaper.

we did (body) shots… we did a lot of sitting around, catching up and bullshitting. i wanted to return to MARS and do some serious dancing. however, after the tequila shots, a few sips of HIV and the complimentary mudslides (offered by the owner) which we didn’t even finish — i don’t think — i couldn’t even walk, let alone dance. they said that jen and i were sooo drunk we were puking our brains out. i guess we both went a little bit overboard. i mean, wouldn’t you? from so many drinking restrictions here, to total freedom.

it’s funny i noticed an odd similarity… here in kansas they stop serving alcohol after midnight. over there, at fat tuesday’s the other day, they stop serving water after midnight. you can drink as much booze as you want, but if you need water: tough. funny, huh?

jen and i got home around eight am the following day. mom was a bit furious for we had to leave for the airport by ten… everything was blur. jen was still pretty much the vegetable, to the extent of puking at the end of our flight to cebu where we were met by my dad’s brother cyrus.

tito cy still hasn’t changed. he still looks pretty much the same, only chunkier now. we stayed at their house in dumaguete overnight, because jen and i were still pretty exhausted from all the exertion.

then we went to opao, across from the elementary school, to visit with my paternal grandparents. finally, we get to tabuc. i saw a lot of familiar faces from the days gone by. my heart teeming with joy —

it feels good to be back.

For anyone that's ever told me that I'm too mean to my sister...consider: a) on my first time really drinking, she let me drink to the brink of alcohol poisoning and b) that night set me on the path of alcoholism I am now on. Well, atleast, that's my story.

Okay, time to get the day started with a load of laundry and a bunch of reading assignments. Or maybe I'll indulge in a coffee and cig combo (who can pass up a day like today) just to get the day started right.

MULTITASKER GIRL AND LAST NIGHT'S BLUR

Saturday, September 15, 2007

I decided to work overtime this Saturday, and I still had homework a plenty, so for my Friday night hoorah, I decided I'd head out early so I can come back early. Yeah? Well, I headed out early and got trashed early. By around 10pm, my friend and I had convoyed to a different part of town. Drunk convoys are not advised. Either way, I woke up this morning afraid to move, knowing I was hung over, but I wasn't. I got up and got ready to go to work thinking I will soon throw up, but I didn't. I've been at work for 3 hours now, and everything is peachy keen. What happened? The night was a blur, but this morning carries no remnants of it, it's as if it never happened. Huh! All I have as proof is a picture in my camera taken by I-don't-remember-who.

The picture, just like the night is blurry. Good times.

MULTITASKER GIRL - NO SLEEP AND NO PAIN

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

Sleep deprivation save me.

As mentioned in the previous blog, I've been working 9 - 10 hours a day and either going to class until 10pm or coming home to do homework. That's what happened today. Actually, I still have a chapter's worth of reading to do for my Visual Basic class, but that I can do in bed.

My eyes are tired, I feel my body wanting to collapse, and I think my bed misses me. I do believe the combination of all of those feelings makes me more agreeable:

Yeah, you're right, I did say I would jump off a building. - No, it's fine, I know I'm worthless. - Absolutely, go ahead and piss on my parade.

All for the sake of not having to go through the muck tonight, or (fingers crossed) any more nights. It also probably helped, the fact that my exes are coming out of the woodwork, makes me realize you can't run away from it. (But you sure as hell can hide!) I don't know what it is about this town that draws them like a magnet. One is back all the way from South America. Why the hell would you come back from South America? Well, atleast he looks happy.

Either case, I must venture towards my bed. Goodnight!

MULTITASKER GIRL SURVIVES A MONDAY

Monday, September 10, 2007

Everybody's talking about the Britney Spear's comeback, but seriously there are bigger things. Like The Hills Season 3, Episode 6. Yay!

So I worked from 7:30am to 6:30pm today. (Hectic!) and went straight to Spanish Class. After which I got home, by 10:15pm, and whipped up my XML writing assignment, plus an updated XML project site by 11:30pm. Did I mention the writing assignment was supposed to be done by me and a classmate? I didn't get a response from him, and it was due tonight, so it was all up to me. But I pulled through with enough time to YouTube The Hills. Woohoo! Yeah, LC's trainer is hott! Did you notice? Too bad his buddy is a tool. Happens all the time, though.

Well, there's the rest of the week with the same schedule. Tomorrow night I have to pull through with a Visual Basic homework. I basically just rotate homework for each class, until I get them all done and maybe even get a little ahead for breathing room. But it'll be aight! A new season has blown through, which means a new wardrobe, and more motivation to get up and go. I'm sure I'll survive.

MULTITASKER GIRL - NO WISER

Sunday, September 09, 2007

Me, Friday, already knowing I'm going to have an awkard night out.

I had the most not-awesome Friday, followed by a very why-me Saturday, which will most likely lead the I-quit Sunday.

I had a piss poor (no need to sugar-coat it) Friday morning, the worst migraine and loads of school work. The day starts picking up after I got up, started getting some actual work done, and Mom taking me lunch at Hana Cafe. Awesome.

After all of that, I decide to meet my coworkers at Brickyard, for what would have been our Friday night routine. At this point, I'm going to have to say, no more. Regardless of whatever drama they might have going on with each other, I can honestly say that I've always tried to be a good friend/supporter. On this night, I needed one of them to be that for me. To my dismay, none were qualified. They started dropping off like flies, leaving me with one part friends of theirs which I didn't want to see that night, and one part "friends" we all just met that night. Really the whole catastrophe in itself is too heinous to even write about. The worst part - being propositioned by SOME guy with his belt unbuckled, pants unbuttoned, and drunk enough to get turned away from a bar. If I wasn't as brazen I would have probably ran and cried. Regardless, that was my signal to say goodnight to downtown.

Of course, that led me to an all too familiar scene. Friends and family can knowingly shake their heads at this point and just keep reading without further explanation. And they would expect me to say, it was not at all bad, and I have only few regrets. Blah, blah, blah. (Eli, if you bug me with annoying questions, or remarks, I will kill you.)

Herego, I got home at about noon the next day, ate, watched TV and napped until 4pm. I got texts and phone calls, which I really was a little too disappointed to respond to. I tried to do more school work, like good little girls do, and left for downtown at about 10pm. This time I went by myself to bask in solitude, knowing there would be no one to have to take care of, or watch out for, and try to ditch. Yay, God.

I did meet up with Phil and his friend at Old Chicago after an hour at Finns. We sat, and enjoyed good food and good conversation. A much needed mellowing after what would soon be referred to as the Friday I almost got mollested. Tomorrow, I will try to erase all of this weekend by drowning myself in more school work, and maybe tempt myself with a trip to the Perk. Oh, and if someone could remind me, I also need to go grocery shopping and do laundry.

I had a crush on Jesse James, back when Colin Farrel played him in the movie American Outlaws. And after I took my obesession too far, I found pictures of the real Jesse James and thought "He's not cute. I'll just keep the vision of Colin Farrel in my mind." Then Colin turned gay and ruined everything. But with Brad Pitt stepping into the historic cowboy boots (and looking better in the role) I can revive my fantasy, and dream again. MULTITASKER GIRL ALMOST BREAKDOWN
I had my first almost breakdown for the semester today. I think it all started hitting me the minute I woke up...late. Ahhhhh! It was basically my hectic schedule getting to me. Every semester it hits me, and yet every semester I pile on more work than ever.

So for most of Sunday and Monday I was catching up school work, expecting not to have any time during the week to get anything done. I went back to work Tuesday, ready and willing to put in four 10 hour days. It's basically crunch time at work, and it's only going to last another month or so, no problem. Of course, until I realize I end up leaving work atleast 10 minutes later than I should be leaving, because I always get tied to my desk, and I end up getting to class 15 minutes late. That's never good. So, today I worked from 8am to 7:16pm, got to class around 7:30pm and that ended at 10pm. Yay, me! I have to do that over again tomorrow. Impressed yet? Wait until next week. Next week the schedule goes like this:

  • Monday - work 7:30am - 6:30pm/school 7:15pm - 10pm
  • Tuesday - work 7:30am - 8:30pm
  • Wednesday - work 7:30am - 6:30pm/school 7:15pm - 10pm
  • Thursday - work 7:30am - 6:30pm/school 7:15pm - 10:15pm
  • Friday - work 7:30am - 8:30pm
  • Saturday - work 8am - 5pm

Of course, Sept. 15th is our major deadline so I'm not expecting this all to last. After the 15th I should be back to my regular 40 hour weeks. October 15th might get busy again, but probably not as. Besides, mid-October is my midterms and depending on how much I can catch up right now, I don't plan on overloading on work.

Anyway, I've been so busy I haven't even had time to catch up on re-runs of The Hills. I YouTube'd the last episode and watched it at the same time. Ah, to be able to sit in front of a TV again.

No real story. I don't care if he's been arrested, or who he beats, just like I didn't care that he banged his children's nanny. I just wanted to post a vid of him, coz' he's hot.

Which proves that she either has really bad taste, or she is desperate to be in the limelight. No offense to Shia. But then again, who else could love that big ass forehead of hers.

MULTITASKER GIRL HAS HOT FRIENDS

Monday, September 03, 2007

I was searching for modeling agencies and found my friend on one of the websites. It would be mean to say he looks good in the pictures because that would imply he doesn't in person, but considering I see him on a daily basis and away from professional lighting, I think I can be forgiven.

MULTITASKER GIRL DOES MORE HOMEWORK
I seriously forced myself to get up at 7am this morning to get the things I need done done. I've told myself that there will be no movie date night if my homework is not done. I also have laundry to do, whew! Oh, and typing these all out, I just realized I also need a manicure, ick!

That said, I'm not spending a lot of time on blogging, there will be more time to blog about me later. For now, I smell something cooking in the kitchen. I'm going to eat, start a load of laundry, start printing all the reading I need to do, read during a much needed manicure, meet a buddy for coffee and pretend studying, have lunch/dinner with the fam, and hopefully a movie date night when all is said and done.

For the hectic day ahead - a Billy Currington video to support his hiatus to sort his personal life, and to provide sexiness during what will be a fairly tedious day.

MULTITASKER GIRL TRIES NOT TO DO HOMEWORK

Sunday, September 02, 2007

Been hanging out with my coworkers after work. We've created a nice Friday night ritual. Okay, so this weekend spilled into Saturday too, but it's Labor Day weekend, c'mon. Anyway, a couple pics from the night before -
